His corporate background includes leadership roles at Walmart, Dollar General, Travel Centers of America, and Pepsi — managing high-volume operations, leading teams of 500+ employees, and driving performance across multi-department, multi-shift environments generating over $100M annually.
Sam founded Sidwell Consult because he kept seeing the same fixable problems go unfixed — not from lack of effort, but from lack of structure. He built this firm to change that.
Before and alongside the corporate career
Sam served as a coach in basketball, baseball, and track — building the same skills that define great operators: accountability, preparation, execution under pressure, and developing people to perform at their best. He has also worked in manufacturing and education, giving him a well-rounded understanding of how different industries face the same core operational challenges.
